Harkham Wines

Harkham Wines is a small family owned and operated winery in the Hunter Valley of NSW. Since their first vintage in 2005, Harkham wines have focused on making wines that are honest to their origins and whose personalities roam free. The wine is lovingly crafted as a poduct of nature, a thing or beauty and of unique personality that should be embraced and never censored. 

Farmed sustainably without the use of fungicides and pesticides, the fruit is handpicked to ensure the highest quality. All work within the winery is undertaken with no chemical additions, flavour adjustments, filtration or fining. The wines are bottled with no added sulphites, in some cases with just a small sulphur addition. Through this minimalist approach to winemaking, Richie helps create wines that are pure, honest and true representations of nature - wines that he hopes you enjoy just as much as he and his family do. You can visit the vineyards tasting room or restaurant during weekends, Friday through to Sunday.

Hark Angel

Hark Angel is a registered charity that is seeking to build 100 schools in some of the poorest village in the world. Villages where a child fails to receive education and is often working from the age of 9 years old. Hark Angel empowers communities and children to change their lives through education. With 8 schools already successfully built and operating, 1500 children have now been given the opportunity to receive an education and change their lives.

After previous involvement in charity work in both Africa and Mynamar, Richie decided to found his own not for profit organisation. The catalyst for this was Richie’s desire to honor the memory of a young boy who provided a donor knee after Richie was involved in a serious accident. Hark Angel built a school in the donor's honor, so that his memory can live on through the improved lives of the children attending.
